How amazing to hear that another copy of Magna Carta has been found. And how serendipitous that in was found in the year of Magna Carta’s 800th anniversary as part of enquiry to find a different document. Yet sad to think that it has lain, unknown, in the Sandwich Town Council archives for many years. Deposited in Kent History & Library Centre, they are clearly not a heavily used collection!
